New flat

14 Sep

We have just put a deposit on our rental flat.  What a relief. It isn’t quite as we planned.  By moving in with a friend we were hoping to save some money while I wasn’t working, but property prices seem to have shot up since we last moved and our areas isn’t exactly cheap.

Anyway, these are some pictures (from the listing).  They are slightly deceiving since it doesn’t look quite this big in reality but still good size.

It has a strange layout.  Spread over three floors it has a bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor, another bedroom and bathroom plus the kitchen on the first floor and then the lounge on the second floor.  But it is new, has lots of light, decent space and a dishwasher (pretty useful when moving in with a friend).  No garden sadly but we haven’t had a garden really in the past. And we do have a lovely park down the road (it literally is two roads away from our current house).

It is unfurnished which means we are going to be even more broke, but I am looking forward to finally having a place with my own stuff in it.

We move at the end of the month. Yay!
